What a great hidden gem. I was visiting a friend in Phoenix and wanted to be near her home and to Turf Paradise without costing an arm and a leg. Searching Tripadvisor I found Sleep Inn North had an above average rating. When I checked in I found the staff to be pleasant and very helpful. And when I entered my 2nd floor room I was truly amazed. Large flat screen TV, a glass enclosed shower, microwave oven, refrigerator, and what appeared to be all new fixtures. If you want a hotel with a lot of frills keep looking, but if you’re looking for a hotel where you get more than your moneys worth, stop looking this is your place.
For the price you can’t beat it. The room was nice the staff was friendly, and breakfast wasn’t bad either. The only complaint I have and its a dumb one, is that they use the small square pillows but they give you plenty of them.
Need to go see my doctor and the Sleep Inn was right across the highway from the doctor. Nice place handicapped room had the tall toilet, (I need because of 4 hip replacements). Nice and comfortable. Willstay there the next time I need to go tosee my doc.

My wife and I had some business to attend to on the north side of Phoenix, so we chose this Sleep Inn since in was close to where we needed to go. Terrific choice!
The room was a little bigger than Some Sleep Inns I have used before. There was plenty of room for us. The room was clean and bed was really comfy. The staff was very friendly and helpful. No real negatives during our stay.the rate was surprisingly low, I might add!

On our way to Sedona, flew in way to late to drive that night. Easy check in, room was great. Breakfast was wonderful, sausage, eggs, waffles, yogurt etc.. We liked it so much we booked for our return 10 days later. We had to leave too early for breakfast this time, but we did get to enjoy the pool & hot tub for a few hours after we checked in. We asked the front desk if they could make sure to have hot water for tea available at 3am as we were packing to leave. They did, it was perfect. Square pillows are funny, they work.
